Our Heritage

Three Generations of
Artistry & Devotion

Since 1992, Kauser and family have been weaving stories into every carpet — preserving ancient techniques while crafting pieces for the modern world.

Artisan weaving a carpet

The Beginning

In 1992, the grandfather of Kauser started the family business in Afghanistan. Armed with techniques passed down through decades and an unwavering commitment to quality, he began creating carpets that caught the attention of collectors worldwide.

His philosophy was simple: every knot should be tied with intention, every dye should come from the earth, and every carpet should outlast the hands that made it.

Today

Three generations later, KAUSER CARPET works with over 30 artisan families across Balkh, Kabul, and Jawzjan. Each region brings its own weaving traditions, materials, and artistic sensibilities.

We've shipped to 5 countries, but our mission remains the same: to bring the warmth of handcrafted heritage into every home.

Heritage

Every technique we use has been refined over decades. We don't follow trends — we preserve traditions that have stood the test of time.

Craftsmanship

From hand-spun silk to naturally sourced dyes, we use only the finest materials. Each carpet takes 6 to 18 months to complete.

Sustainability

We work with GoodWeave to ensure ethical production. Our natural dyes and organic materials leave a minimal footprint on the earth.
